Bill Proposes Increase in OFCCP Budget

The House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services approved a bill which would increase the OFCCP’s FY2020 budget by $17 million. The bill still has to be approved by the House Appropriations Committee, and the Senate Appropriations Committee must also propose a budget.

OFCCP Town Halls

The OFCCP has scheduled four town hall sessions in FY2019 in response to the  Government Accounting Office’s September 2016 Report: Strengthening Oversight Could Improve Federal Contractor Nondiscrimination Compliance.  The stated goals are to hear from the contractor community and to “identify opportunities for enhancing OFCCP’s compliance assistance.” The OFCCP has also provided their Action Plan [...]

Updated Veterans Hiring Benchmark

The OFCCP lowered its veterans hiring benchmark to 5.9%.  The new hiring benchmark is effective March 31, 2019.
