On December 2, 2021 the OFCCP introduced their new Contractor Portal, which is a part of the AAP Verification Interface the OMB approved in August. The agency announced that federal contractors “must use this portal to certify, on an annual basis, whether they have developed and maintained an affirmative action program for each establishment.” The OFCCP also published the implementation timeline for the Contractor Portal. February 1, 2022 is when contractors can begin to register for access to the portal, and March 31, 2022 is when the portal will open for contractors to certify their AAP compliance. The deadline to certify compliance is June 30, 2022. At this time, there are no details on exactly how contractors will certify their AAP compliance.
