The Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974 (VEVRAA) regulations require Federal contractors to invite employees to self-identify their veteran status and to invite applicants to voluntarily self-identify as protected veterans at both the pre-offer and post-offer phases of the application process.  The U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) recently published a new infographic designed to navigate the protected veteran categories to determine veteran eligibility for coverage under VEVRAA.

For your convenience, we have added the Protected Veteran infographic to the Resource Center/OFCCP Documents on the MALY website.

The MALY staff is also available to answer questions pertaining to veteran protection and affirmative action regulations administered by the OFCCP.
