This proposal bill would require California employers with 100 or more employees to annually report pay data by race/ethnicity and sex for employees in 10 listed categories to the state.  The categories include executive officials and managers, administrative support workers, sales workers, technicians, and laborers.  Last year we reported that Office of Management and Budget sent a memo to the EEOC stating that the pay component would not be required as part of the EEO-1 report.  There is currently no pay data reporting requirement on the Federal level.
