After delaying the opening of the 2019 EEO-1 Component 1 Data Collection due to the COVID-19 public health emergency, the EEOC announced on January 12 that the collections will open in April 2021. There is no official updated deadline. The agency will collect both 2019 and 2020 EEO-1 Component 1 data from private sector employers in April 2021. The EEOC recommends preparing to submit data in anticipation of these openings. If we normally file your company’s EEO-1 report, we will file both your company’s 2019 and 2020 EEO-1 data ahead of the deadline.
