The EEOC has updated their website to state that the “The 2021 EEO-1 Component 1 data collection is tentatively scheduled to open on Tuesday, April 12th, 2022. The tentative deadline to file the 2021 EEO-1 Component 1 Report is Tuesday, May 17th, 2022.” If we normally file your company’s EEO-1 report, we will file your company’s 2021 EEO-1 data this spring ahead of the deadline.
The EEOC also announced discontinuation of the EEO-1 Type 6 Establishment List Reports for reporting establishments with fewer than 50 employees. All filers reporting data for establishments with under 50 employees must use a Type 8 Establishment Report going forward. This will not change the data collection process on your end or the data being reported, just the method it is reported.
