The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) sent out an update regarding the EEO-1 Report after being affected by the partial government shut down. The agency announced that the opening of the 2018 EEO-1 survey has been postponed until “early March 2019”. Additionally, the filing deadline to submit the data will be extended until May 31, 2019. The EEO-1 is an annual survey requiring all employers with 100 or more employees as well as all federal contractors with 50 or more employees to submit workforce data by ethnicity, race, gender and job category.
